Para la publicación en la revista Twelv, Hissa Igarashi y Sayuri Murakami han creado un vestido enteramente de ositos de goma, que rinde homenaje al fallecido Alexander McQueen.
Para crear esta obra maestra, el alambre de acero se iba torciendo hasta dar la forma perfecta del vestido y lo cubrieron con una lámina de vinilo, después unos 50.000 ositos de goma fueron pegados cuidadosamente a mano en un patrón de colores que recuerda a un arco iris de Chevron.
Tres semanas fueron las necesarias para completar el vestido y ajustar exactamente a las medidas de la modelo Jessica Pitti. ¿El resultado? Un gesto increíble para un genio de la moda que fue, literalmente, lo suficientemente bueno para comer!
For publication in the journal Twelv, Hissa Igarashi and Sayuri Murakami has created a dress entirely of gummy bears, which pays tribute to the late Alexander McQueen.
To create this masterpiece, steel wire was twisted to give the perfect shape of the dress and covered with a vinyl sheet, after about 50,000 gummy bears were carefully hand stuck in a color pattern that resembles a bow Chevron iris.
Three weeks were required to complete the dress and set exactly to the measurements of the model Jessica Pitti. The result? An amazing gesture for a fashion genius he was, literally, good enough to eat!
